Ohio Courses

This course is designed to satisfy the 2027 reduced continuing education requirements for all license types regulated by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board.Ohio licensees are required to complete 3 hours of Infection Control and Safety continuing education. In addition, the Board requires completion of a 1-hour Ohio Laws and Rules course, which is provided free of charge by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board.After successfully completing this course, you will need to visit the Ohio.gov website and follow the Board's instructions to access and complete the free Ohio Laws and Rules course in order to fulfill your continuing education requirements.

Study at your own pace with a printable e-booklet, then submit the blank answer sheet online. A random booklet version is emailed to you. When you are ready, sign in (or create an account) to submit your answers. Pass the exam, then pay to receive your certificate. This correspondence option is separate from the online LMS course — you may take either.
